As a woman with many roles, Mya is passionate about sharing her story and perspective with clients who lean on her 20+ years of expertise for sound guidance. She uses a spiritual, transparent, insightful, and candid approach to help business owners tap into their true potential. For over 20 years, Mya has enhanced the lives of numerous people both nationally and globally within the complex corporate world. She utilizes her own personal and professional experiences to help others enhance, identify, and own the power they hold to chart their ideal life.
Mya obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Women Studies and Behavioral Analysis from the University of Houston Clear Lake. She continued her education at the University of Houston Downtown studying for her Master’s in Nonprofit Management.
Mya Carroll is a Business and Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, Author, Real Estate Agent, Founder of Phoenix Women’s Outreach, Inc., and Founder and C.E.O. of RM Carroll Enterprise, LLC. She is also the Former Chair of the South Houston Concerned Citizens’ Coalition. She currently is a Board of Director of Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone 9 (TIRZ 9). She finds solace in providing her expertise to several other boards within her community.
Mya’s unmatched experience truly comes from working as a valuable asset to numerous Fortune 500 Companies for over 20 years. Each promising role required her to identify, train, and develop executives and leaders to perform essential tasks that lead to the company’s success. She is well experienced in developing effective marketing strategies, performance improvement solutions, organizational development, project management, and global implementation.
In 2015, Mya received a Proclamation from Annise D. Parker. As Mayor of the City of Houston, she declared April 17th “Mya Carroll’s Day”.
As she continues to earn awards, honors, and acknowledgments through her dedication to producing profitable solutions to emerging businesses, Mya’s most recent award was Houston Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business” award in 2019.
