With the close of 2021, we wanted to look back on the year and welcome the possibilities of what 2022 has in store for us!
In 2021, we enjoyed a 66.67% transaction increase, 39.62% agent increase, 79.03% gross commission increase, and 67.29% sales volume increase! Huge thanks to all of our rockstar agents, clients, and customers to helped us make this happen!
2021 was a rollercoaster ride, but our agents took it in stride! We broke office records again with sales topping $100M in transaction volume. From single family homes to income producing properties, our agents sold it all!
Here We Grow!
Last summer was extra breezy for us as we introduced our brand to the New Orleans market with a new location in the fabulous Garden District! "We opened a New Orleans office because the success of our agents demonstrated that we are growing and we made the commitment back to the agents with a modern workspace and conference room to conduct their business. We couldn't be more thankful for the success of our agents!" stated Tom Bookhardt, CEO.
Keeping Ahead of the Curve
When they weren't out producing, our agents were in the classroom - both in person and virtually! We kicked off the year with our annual Business Planning Workshop, and weekly virtual meetings to keep our agents in the know with the latest market statistics, changes, and market updates. Our agents enjoyed several in person Continuing Education opportunities and check in's with real estate attorney Danny Douglass. We also introduced monthly agent round tables to touch base on everything real estate!
Focusing on our community is important to us, and 2021 taught us we all must lean on each other. We started off the year with our annual Throwin' Out 2020 Food Drive, where we donated over 300 pounds of canned goods to Second Harvest Food Bank. In Spring we threw on our best golfing shorts and took it to the country club where we sponsored the first annual More Than Fore event, where proceeds were donated to St. Jude's Cancer Research Fund.
With summer came hurricane season, and we found ourselves coming together to organize a donation drive for the community after Hurricane Ida devastated our area. We teamed up with our corporate leaders and United agents across the country to collect food, water, basic essentials, and cleaning supplies for those in need.
We all know the saying - work hard, play hard! Luckily for our team, our agents know how to do it! We enjoyed networking luncheons and great end-of-year parties to celebrate togther.
